Medieval Cop, by
VasantJ, is a series of games about a pessimistic police officer named Dregg who solves crime in a fantasy setting. In the first episode, Dregg investigates the murder of a lawyer. As Dregg, the player collects clues to solve the crime. The story is humorous though the grammar in the game is incorrect at times.

Dregg investigates a crime scene in Episode 1. |
At the time of writing, there are three episodes:
Medieval Cop - The Death of a Lawyer
Medieval Cop - The True Monster
Medieval Cop - The Princess and the Grump
With the release of each episode, there are advances to the story and
more content as well as additions to the gameplay and improvements to
the interface. Grammar, though, has yet to show improvement.

Episode 2 introduced the Medieval Debate. |
The second episode is longer than the first. The episode introduced more characters as well as the Medieval Debate, an interactive challenge where Dregg uses the clues he has collected to reveal the truth.
|
Episode 3 added hearts in Medieval Debates to remind the player of lives left. |
In addition to improvements to gameplay and interface, Episode 3 expanded on the characters. People who seemed frivolous earlier are shown to have deeper aspects to themselves. In addition, the episode reveals a long-term plot that links the episodes of the series.
The developer is still working on new episodes so there should be more in the future.
