For
those of you who don't know, the Narration Room is where we add the
narration to the text that we filmed in the studio and do the
editing. There's no camera here so all you read is what I type.
You may
have seen my previous work in Gloriously Messed-up. I played Julia.
You know, the basketball player? Has a younger sister...
Okay,
she didn't appear much. So I didn't get a chance to show my acting
skills. The higher-ups thought that I should have more page time. But
since there were no plans for more of Julia, they thought I should
try out for Mab and here I am! Of course my hair has to be brown for
this role. The Makeup Department did their magic for that.
Oh, and
the actress for Trish played Ursula in Gloriously Messed-up.
For Io,
we had a choice of either Carrie or Annie. Carrie's good at pulling
off Io's wacky nature while Annie's sneaky and devious. Both
important traits of Io.
In the
end, we went with Carrie. Annie just can't do wacky like Carrie can.
But she can give Carrie a few pointers in sneaky. So those two are
gonna work together a bit until Carrie nails Io's character. The
Makeup Department worked their magic again since Io is a little
shorter than Mab.
So we
have Fernham High's Girls Basketball Team as the Scarlet Vixens!
For some
strange reason, Carrie was a bit apprehensive with the arrangement
while Annie was delighted. I wonder why.
Oh, and
Squirt is played by Roger from Handful of Sand. Yeah, the higher-ups
wanted someone quiet yet silently tough so he fit the role. Too bad
he didn't get much page time in Handful of Sand either, so you can't
see much of his previous work.
Originally,
we had thought of casting Gloria for the role of the main character.
But she was busy with behind-the-scenes work on Handful of Sand.
