Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas.
As you take in the festivities and enjoy the day, do take a moment to remember the birth of Jesus Christ and the reason He came.

Christmas 2016
It is the time of the year to once again remember the birth of Jesus Christ.
As you celebrate the season, may you be filled with joy and peace.
Trust in Him that you may overflow with hope by the power of His Spirit.
Have a blessed Christmas!

Christmas 2015
It is time once again to celebrate the birth of He who is called Immanuel,
He who came to fulfill the promise of 'God with us'.
As life goes on tomorrow and the days after, remember that you are not on your own.
Have a blessed Christmas!

Christmas 2014
It is that time of the year again, the day of the Christmas celebration.
Do take a moment today to remember the reason for the celebration.
Remember Jesus who came to bring Peace, Peace between Man and God.
Say a silent prayer of thanks for God's Gift of Life.
May you have a good day.

Christmas 2013
It is that time of the year again, the season when certain people will try to convince everyone that it is good to give gifts. And that their (the former's) products are the best gifts for that.
There are also people who say that it the time to gather with family and loved ones.
In the middle of all the celebration, the shopping and the giving, the gatherings and the parties, the food and the drinks, (and the legal looting both real and virtual), do remember the reason of Christmas.
Remember the Gift who came from above.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Christmas 2012
It is Christmas again.
That time of the year with the good food, the gifts, the songs and the parties.
For some, there is the special time with that handsome guy or that cute girl, perhaps with candles, a show or a cuddle in front of the television
For others, perhaps a welcome chance to rest and take a break from all the hard work of the past year.
Amid all of these, do remember the reason of Christmas. Remember today, the birth of Jesus, He who came to bring us hope, to show us the way that we may live.

Stop Online Piracy Act
For those of you who are aware of the Stop Online Piracy Act being debated in the US, you may skip this post. The only thing of interest to you may be this link to Wikipedia about the SOPA Initiative.
For the rest of you, and I hope there's no one in this category, you should at least be aware of SOPA. I do not understand all the implications of SOPA and its sister PIPA or how exactly they will work.
As I understand, if this bill passes, it will have serious effects on the Internet as we know. A lot of material are going to face forced censorship. A lot of information may be restricted, hidden from the rest of the world. It is like dropping a nuke to exterminate roaches
in a city apartment. And more than a few roaches may actually survive
the blast.
If you use the Internet, which I assume you do since you are probably reading this post from an Internet connection, you should at least be aware of this issue, even if your understanding is incomplete (like mine).
Here's the link again to where you can learn more from a much more reliable source than this post.

Christmas 2011
And so it has come to this day again where people across the world would celebrate the birth of a single Child.
Who is this Child that all would rejoice and sing praises for Him?
Who is this Child to bring hope for all?
Who is this Child to make peace between God and man?
Who is this Child to be love?
I hope you will find the answers that you seek.

Girl Genius Day 2011
Today is Girl Genius Day.
Girl Genius is a very popular webcomic that I follow regularly about the adventures of a madcap inventor and her wild and crazy adventures in a steampunk world. It is very funny and very entertaining, I mean, see for yourself here. (Check out the title of the book in the bottom left panel.)
This webcomic is one of the many influences in my own work. And in a fun way. So when I read it for research, I am also doing it for fun. :)
Apparently the Foglios have also released a novel. I have not read it myself, but chances are it will be every bit as funny as the comics.
Oh, and apparently it is Kaja Foglio's birthday. Happy birthday, Kaja.

Merry Christmas
Once again, it is that time of the year again, the day to remember the birth of Jesus Christ.
What is interesting about Jesus Christ is that he claims to be the Son of God. He has backed that up with not only miracles but also through his teachings that are both wise and authoritative. Of course, it may be hard to believe for some people, to believe that there is a God, a God that would come to us as a man.
But what if it really is true?
What if God really became man in the form of Jesus Christ?
Would you be interested in speaking to him?
Or are you finally delighted that you have someone to pin all your troubles on? :P
Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone,
and hope that today will bring blessings to all of you!
La, la, la...
