Thea: The Awakening, Contents

Thea: The Awakening by MuHa Games is a turn-based strategy game. The player leads a village, sending out people to explore the land (and look for trouble), gather resources and fight baddies. Back at the village, food and equipment may be crafted from the resources gathered in order to give advantages to handle more difficult encounters. With many random Events possible, each game is a different adventure.

Listed below are the articles I wrote based on my experience with the game. The version numbers of Thea are listed, followed by the game names, links to the articles and notes. The game changes a lot between the versions. The most notable difference is that the Early Access version have different bonuses for the deities compared to the Release version.

The Grinns Tale: Contents

I have written enough articles on The Grinns Tale to warrant a contents page so here it is. Note that Updates for the game are applied frequently so the articles may get obsolete fast.

The Grinns Tale is published by Nexon Korea Corporation, the same company who brought Cloudstone and Maple Story and many other online games. The Grinns Tale is about developing a town to support a party of adventurers who then beat up baddies for resources to craft equipment.

Free games are available all over the Internet. The difficulty is to find those games. There are so many free games out there and a good percentage of them are bad. As such, it is going to take considerable effort to look for good games. In order to help, I have listed a number of games I find enjoyable here.

Coffee Break Games

Coffee break games are not necessarily the best games out there. But they are helpful to take your mind off work for a few minutes during coffee breaks. Typically, a session of the game can be completed in a short amount of time. They should not be addictive so the player can easily stop. Preferably, they should not be stressful either, so the player will be fresh enough to continue with work after playing.

Buddy Rush: Set Items

I was looking through my friend's characters and I came across this:

Set Item!

The green writing at the bottom may be a little hard to read for people with red-green blindness. It says, "SetEffect: Evade +5%, Att+32, HitSpeed+2%". My friend had all four of Genzir's items equipped.

I wonder what the other sets do. And I wonder if the purple Guardian items are also a set.

Update 23 May 2011:
I just completed my own set with the following:

Guardian Set!

There are four items in the Guardian set. Two are with Genzir, one with YA 86 and the last is with Farjegnon.

Update 1 January 2011:
Just a little warning that if you delete the last of a Raid purple item, it disappears from the Raid Boss' screen too.

Deleting a Raid item removes it from the Raid Boss loot!

Buddy Rush: Contents

Now that I have posted quite a few articles on Buddy Rush, I thought I should make a contents page so you readers would not have to get creative with the search engine to find them all.

Buddy Rush (Copyright © 2010. by Company 100, Inc.) is a single-player (plus friends), action role-playing game available on Facebook. It is also playable on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

The game is like the traditional MMORPGs where the player forms parties with friends to go do beat up the opposition, complete objectives and score loot. However, unlike traditional MMORPGs, the player does not have to wait for friends to be online to play as the friends' characters are controlled by AIs.

Take a few friends and go beat up Oblins. Score sweet loot. Share a few with your friends.
