Here is the first of the three purple sets I have completed on that one day, the Magic Cane Set. There are two items in this set.
The first item is the Powerless Magic Cane, which can be bought from the shop.

Overall, both sets give Nagne decent all round bonuses, with good critical for his Forgetful Nagne skill. With this setup, all equip slots are taken by both sets. Thus the only flexibility would be in costume and accessories.
Update 19 March 2012:
Rumor has it that there is also a blue Magical Essence (the one in the screenshot above is red), which gives a different Set Effect. Rumor also says that it is possible to equip both Magical Essences for both bonuses. However, I am skeptical about the latter since the Magical Essences share the same name and unique items of the same name cannot be equipped.

The blue Magical Essence is great for skill spammers with extra MP, Skill Pow and Skill CoolTime. However, with the new additions (especially the latest raid boss loot), the blue Magical Essence is less impressive.
Hi I think that it's possible to equip both magical esssence as I've seen a guy with the jeweless sword and 2 different processed oblinium, red and blue, giving 2 sets of set effects.

DeleteIt's possible to get one during missions and maybe the stamina reward chest after the mission. I don't remember which mission though. It is also a rare drop in Arena - this is probably a better place to farm for them.

If you can spare the bugs, it's okay to buy the Powerless Magic Cane. The Set Effect is okay before level 100. It's main drawback is that it cannot be Refined - and Refining will not improve the Set Effect anyway.
Deletehi, just asking i got 2 red essence from the daily chest just wondering whether i can equip both ? because u said that red and blue cant combine , just wondering though . also do you think it is worth it for skully ?? thank you in advanced :P

DeleteThe Set Effect for the red Magical Essence is good for Skully if she is configured to Stun with normal attacks.
