Buddy Rush: Burning Worrier (1.7.1)

Worrier becomes Burning Worrier after Class Advancement.
Worrier admires his new hammer.
Burning Worrier gets a hammer as his new weapon. He also gets a thicker, more impressive shield, but it is not mentioned anywhere.
No, it's not part of the Lord's Set.
Burning Worrier also gets a new Ultimate Skill.
Hammer of Passion
When executing Hammer of Passion, Worrier tosses a gigantic hammer to crush the baddies. The hammer does damage twice. The first, to a very small area with lots of damage. The second, to a very large area, with less damage but with a guaranteed chance of Stun.

A guaranteed Stun skill is very useful to stop baddies from attacking. Some baddies are immune to Stun, though (Genzir the Storm, who else?).
Hammer of Passion lands on baddies.
Burning Worrier's other skills can be found in Worrier's skill guide.

Here's another screenshot with more action:
Hard to see with so many things happening.

  1. Great post there. I have a question for skully, as the hand bomb skill is somewhat nerfed, is it still worth investing skill points on it? Hand bomb is relatively slow at casting, and it's hard to hit more than one target. Should I invest on other skills?

    1. Hand Bomb at point-blank seems to do more damage than Skully Shots at point-blank. However, I can't confirm this since Skully Shots throws lots of numbers up that it is hard to see.

On the other hand, Skully Shots is much easier to aim.

I'd put a few points in Hand Bomb since it can still do decent damage to bosses.

Note that the Hand-Bomb-at-point-blank trick does not work on Chapter 12 for some reason.

    2. Hand Bomb still does the same damage even when it's casted from far. Didn't it used to be 3 bombs? My skully Shots does about 1k per bullet, from point blank it does 10k~30k damage. Hand Bomb does about 4.5k, 6k when it crits. Hand Bomb cooldown is alot longer so.. Idk if it's still worth using Hand Bomb, both of the skills are mastered.

    3. If Skully is positioned such that the target is right where the mouth of her cannon is, all her bombs will do damage at launch.

Originally, when she once had 3 bombs, if this trick was used on a small target, Hand Bomb will do damage three times at launch and once more when one of the bombs land on that small target for a total of x4.

That may be why the number of bombs was reduced to 2.

That trick does not work on Chapter 12 for some reason.

The extra damage on impact does not work on bosses because bosses tend to be large and the bomb must exit the contact area of the target and reentering to do damage on impact.

I think the extra damage on impact may no longer be possible.

Anyway, CoolTime for Hand Bombs is about half the time for Skully Shots so that should be considered. I think it's best to invest skill points based on the player's playing style.
