With the help of a buddy of mine, I have managed to complete one of the Lord's set... the colorless set, that is.
The Lord's set is a new arena reward available in the second mini-wave of the Seventh Wave. I am not certain if Honor Points affect the reward - I had received a red Lord's set item at little more than 5k Honor Points.
Update 7 June 2012:
Dev C has sent me screenshots of the Green, Blue and Red versions of the Lord's Set.
Update 11 June 2012:
Dev C has collected the screenshots of the Purple version of the Lord's Set.
Update 27 May 2013:
disboima sent screenshots of the Silver set that was added during the Mini-wave of April 2013.

The red Lord's Set is comparable to Jinie's Set. The red Lord's Set has higher Hit Speed. However, with lower MP Regen and Skill CoolTime, the red Lord's Set is better at regular attacks, compared to Jinie's Set, which is more suited for spamming damage skills.
The red Lord's Set does not have the staying power of the Armored Tiger's Set and thus is not suited for tanks. Especially since it does not have HP Regen to recover, neither does it have Stun.

The red Lord's Set does have superior offense compared to the Philosopher's Stone Set. The latter is a more balanced set with bonuses in everything and high Critical.

At first glance, it does appear that the purple Lord's Set is superior to Bangbang's Set. The purple Lord's Set does have better Def and overall damage dealing potential. However, Bangbang's Set has higher HP and MP. This makes Bangbang's Set more useful for the main character since it increases the effectiveness of red and blue orbs that are released on an Oblin's KO. This is more useful on missions and on raids that have lots of orbs like Armored Tiger or Ivardark.
Update 10 May 2013:
I got tired of straining my eyes on the Set Effects in the screenshots of the purple Lord's Set above so here are new screenshots, the 1.8.2 version:

The silver Lord's Set has more MP Regen, Evade and a whole lot more Skill Pow. MP Regen and Skill Pow along with increased Att make this set great for dealing damage with skills. Unfortunately, the set does not have any HP Regen or Stun, thus it is not suitable for tanks or for Stunning Oblins. It has good Hit Speed, so it will support any Stun from elsewhere.
---
In summary, the Lord's Set is suited for a pure damage-dealing buddy. It has Def for the occasional mistakes but without any HP Regen, the buddy should stay out of harm's way. And without Stun, the task of applying Stun on Oblins may have to be assigned to another buddy, that is, unless the Oblins are KO-ed first.
I can send you screenshots of the GU BU and RU sets if you want? Also, one of my friends does indeed have a PU piece, which i can also take a pic of as proof of existence, if you want :)
ReplyDeleteScreenshots would be very helpful.
DeleteYou can find my e-mail address at the usual place, though for some reason people seem to have trouble finding it... :p
Sent the mail, hope it helps :)
Deleteuhmm, i found a *silver* Lord's Hammer for Lv.100 (NOT purple)
ReplyDeleteIs it the same thing???
That's the legendary version added in the recent Mini-wave. Very rare.
DeleteWould it complete a set to activate the bonus effects if mixed with other purple items? or is has to be all Silver items to get the Bonus effect of the set?
DeleteTo have a whole Legendary set would be REALLY hard to get.
All items of the set have to be of the same quality. Good luck collecting them all. :p
Delete*nothing related to post
ReplyDeletecan tell me the most damaging set of 6 utems regardless of levels ( for vampino )
Not really. I don't have Vampino and I usually pick items for versatility rather than pure offense.
DeleteYou could look for other Vampinos in the Buddy Square and see what they have equipped.
