Nuclear Gastronomy

David Morgan-Mar over at Irregular Webcomic came up with Nuclear Gastronomy, along with some example recipes. I thought the recipe for the Salmon Poached in Uranium-235 was funny. Any physics student should know how important it is to 'replace the control rods' after using the fission reactor to poach the salmon. :p

However, I do wonder if it is safe to subject the plastic bag used to contain the salmon fillet to such temperatures (that's the chemistry student thinking!).
