Handful of Sand Interlude 1

Hey, there. This is Gloria here in the Narration Room. You may know me from my previous work in Gloriously Messed-up.

For those of you who do not know, this is the Narration Room where we add text commentaries to the story and do the editing. There are no cameras here so all you read is what I type.

I am doing extra narration in addition to that done by the main character since Sandy is too much of an idiot to make certain observations. Sandy the character, I mean. Sandy the actress who acts as her is a very nice girl, so be polite.

Earlier in the story, we had Selina capture a raccoon. Now little boys and girls at home, do not attempt to do that. That scene has been done by professionals with lots of safety precautions. Our raccoon is a professional.

It is dangerous to capture a wild animal. Real-life raccoons are potentially dangerous creatures. They can suddenly attack and bite and may carry rabies. What you should do is to alert an adult.

Oh, and for those of you who have read Gloriously Messed-up and may be confused by what is going on in this story, Handful of Sand starts with the beginning of the first semester, while Gloriously Messed-up starts towards the end. So with respect to Gloriously Messed-up, this story starts in the past.

Anyway, please take some time to have a little break, especially if you have not done so after the long Chapter 5. Maybe get up and stretch or go get a glass of water. The latter may not apply if you have a glass of water within easy reach as you read this. Or if you call for someone to get it for you instead.

Are there any of you who would actually send a text message to someone to get a glass of water for you?

Oh wait, this story may be read so far in the future, at a time when you can just call out to the house AI to get a glass of water for you. I wonder if this story will survive on the Internet that long. I wonder if the Internet will evolved into something else by then.

Oh boy, I'm gushing out thoughts like Carrie! Excuse me while I go read a dictionary or some medical journal.
