Hey, there. This is Gloria here in the Narration Room.
Finally, my character's in the story. Those of you who've read Gloriously Messed-up should have spotted me right away. Those of you who haven't, well, I'm not going to spoil the plot for you. :)
High school can be stressful with all the homework and school activities. Add in the threat of kidnapping and that's a lot of excitement for Sandy. Imagine having to do homework with one eye on the window. Or while keeping watch over one's shoulder.
And it's hard to sleep at night, not knowing if one will wake up in the morning. Scary, isn't it?
If the kidnapper doesn't get Sandy, her teacher might if she doesn't finish her homework. And that's very likely to happen with Sandy, the part where she doesn't finish her homework, that is.
But what if the teacher is out to kidnap her to make her sign the declaration? Hmmm, which teacher would it be?
Mrs Kingston? She may be too nice to be one.
Mr Fowler? Too incompetent? Too insecure?
Ms Redgrave? If you ask Sandy, she'd say it's Ms Redgrave. But that would make it too obvious, wouldn't it?
Anyway, it's time to take a break. You should know the drill by now. Get up and stretch, take a short walk outside and relax your eyes. Staring at the monitor for a long time can strain the eyes. I should know. My eyes get tired staring at the monitor after an hour of adding the narration.
The story will continue. If Sandy's still alive. :)
